Situated just off of the M4 in Wiltshire, outside of the town of Swindon, which it has been said is “the fastest growing town in Europe”, midway between the market town of Marlborough and Swindon; the offices are situated with easy access to the M4, so Home From Home can travel in either direction quickly to any contracts we are instructed to manage. By train it is one hour into London Paddington and into Wales in under an hour, so our business is conveniently situated with easy access to most areas. As a managing agent, we are often called into manage blocks of flats when either the last flat on a complex has been sold and the properties are then offered to the residents for residential management, or the owners are no longer happy with the present property manager. We are acutely aware of the leaseholder’s wishes and requirements and also the latest legislation and code of practice. Having been in business for over 24 years and specialising in block management for the last 15 years, our success has been based on the ability to not only manage the flats effectively, but also profitably. Often having been called in when there are serious problems with collecting service charge and ground rent, which as a consequence means there is often no working capital. We have however, in all cases so far, been able to turn the companies round to a profitable position. Our forte is collecting arrears and again this has been done very successfully to date. |
